Smoking affects the body but knowingly or unknowingly it is also fading the financial condition. Tobacco companies and government are the only ones that do well to the sale of tobacco. Government and company are receiving good wealth in the form of taxes. Smokers are naive of the amount they spend on lighting every cigarette.
If a smoker is lighting 20 cigarettes per day means per year he must smoking nearly 7,000 cigarettes. Let’s take he is choosing the cheapest brand available than also he is investing more than $2,000 yearly. Therefore, there is not only a risk for various illnesses, but also a toll on the pockets of smokers. So this habit of smoking eats up the person financially.
The effect of smoking is not just the financial toll but it also consumes time. The smokers are more prone to all the disease as his immune system becomes weak. Ultimately he has to go for sick leaves in the company and there will be loss of productivity.
The smokers are more prone to all the major diseases such as heart attack, renal impairment, cataract, atherosclerosis, cancer etc. the money required for the treatment of all this diseases are very high and eventually it brings down the financial condition of the person.
Rather than wasting money in the treatment on can utilize this money in some good things may be by bringing some good books. Per week a person can save money near about $12. The financial condition will also be maintained and there will not be any shortage of money every house will be happy.
A smoker thinks that one cigarette cost so less but if we count it weekly, monthly and then yearly one can see how much saving a person can do if he once quit the smoking.
